Standard First Aid (SFA)

This 6 1/2 hour course is designed for the needs of business and industry. It provides a full-color participant manual with materials on workplace emergency plans, and prevention of injury and illness.

Standard First Aid covers:

Recognizing and caring for life-threatening emergencies in adults

bullet

Injuries such as cuts and burns

bullet

Injuries to muscles, bones, and joints, such as sprains and strains

bullet

Sudden illnesses, including poisonings and heat and cold emergencies

Adult CPR

This 4-hour course covers:

How to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults

bullet

Healthy lifestyles

bullet

Preventing heart disease

Preventing Disease Transmission

This 2-hour training module for professionals who could, on the job, be exposed to infectious blood or other body fluids.

How to protect against disease transmission

How to minimize the chances of exposure -

What to do if an exposure occurs.

AED Essentials (2 hours)

Individuals currently certified in Adult CPR learn how to safely use an AED to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

HIV / AIDS Workplace Program 

This program is designed specifically for occupational environments and may be tailored to meet the specific needs of your business.
