public educational program. The purpose of this program is to
provide participants with the knowledge to prepare for
possible disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.
Emergency preparedness is a primary role of the American Red
Cross and this new online program enables Red Cross to easily
reach those who utilize the internet.
The online program content
reflects the most up-to-date information available and is in
concert with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Content
is updated with the latest science for first aid, CPR and
emergency cardiovascular care.
