DefenseLINK is the official Information Service from the Department of Defense and the starting point for locating information on Defense servers around the world. The DefenseLINK home page provides direct access to the Information Services established by each military department and organization. It also contains several Defense publications, frequently asked questions about the department, and an easy-to-use interface for Government Information Locator Service. 

This site pools web resources from across the Air Force and Department of Defense into a single location and provides a virtual community atmosphere where visitors can participate in bulletin board discussions, chat rooms, post resumes online or search for information on a variety of topics.
